This Thursday (1 April) is when NHS staff are due a pay rise. To mark this day, health unions are asking everyone to use the windows of their flats, houses and offices to show support for NHS workers and put pressure on the Westminster government to rethink its insult of a 1% proposal.
People can either draw and colour their own posters or download ready to use graphics here.
In addition, the Daily Mirror is running a competition and is asking its readers to share their posters to help bring about a pay rise for NHS staff.
The winning entry will be printed in Wednesday’s paper, with people urged to cut the page out and place in their windows in good time for Thursday’s NHS pay day.
Let’s all get creative for the NHS. So don’t delay, grab your crayons, felt tips or pencils and get colouring. There’s not a minute to lose.
